Upton Village is a small rural village set in Broadland, equidistant from the historic city of Norwich, and the coast. It is close to the villages of Ranworth, South Walsham and Acle. There is a post office and shop 400 yards away as is the local White Horse pub and a large supermarket can be found in Acle village 1.5 miles away.
North Norfolk is a special mix of the Broads, beautiful coast, unspoilt countryside and amazing heritage. There are many attractions in the immediate area including Fairhaven Water Gardens, the Bygone Village, Thrigby Hall Wildlife Park and the 14th Century St Margarets Church.
There is a sailing school at Upton Station where yacht and cruiser hire is available. There are many pleasant walks in the area, and of course Norfolk is ideal cycling country! The Farmhouse would also appeal to bird watchers, anglers and those looking to spend a few quiet days in the peace of the countryside.
